As cute as it is, an egg means you haven’t hatched your account yet. And it also conveys the message that you’re not really taking your Twitter account seriously. Don’t be an egg for long. Here’s how to hatch your Twitter profile quickly and make sure you set up your account:
When you first log in, go to the Setting button in the upper right (it looks like a wheel). Then go to Edit Profile. From here you can change your profile photo so you’re no longer an egg. It’s best to use a real photo of yourself so that people see that you’re a human. Professional headshots are best, but if you don’t yet have a headshot, the logo of your business works too. Now get ready to meet the world by filling in some other details.
2. Fill Out Your Bio

4. Be Relevant and Useful

For example, if you want to sell your purse to your friend, would you say, “BUY MY PURSE! IT'S CHEAP BUT PRETTY!!” or would you say, “Hey, I want to sell my purse. I think it fits your style and you've complimented me on it before, so I wanted to offer it to you if you're interested.”

Download an app or a mobile social media management tool to keep up with your new Twitter account. Engaging with people promptly is important.
