Customer Spotlight

This month, we're shining our customer spotlight on Glenda, owner of Sassy2Stitch.com, and a loyal iPage customer since 2012.

Sassy2Stitch, known as "The Tool Store for Stitchers," is a web-based business that specializes in providing an extensive selection of stitching and needlework necessities for hobbyists and crafters of all skill levels. Glenda's specialty is acquiring crafting supplies for sale that aren't as easy to find in local brick and mortar stores, which gives her an edge over traditional business models.

After previously hosting her offerings on an eBay store, Glenda got her foot in the e-commerce door by using iPage's Design Services team to help build the basics of her website. Her current site features a robust shopping cart tool, designed for quick and efficient management of her extensive and unique inventory. Anyone who has used such a tool knows how much sensitive information is handled on a daily basis, but one look at sassy2stitch.com shows that Glenda understands the importance of keeping customer data safe and secure. Any visitor can clearly see the numerous safeguards that she has in place, including SSL certification from GeoTrust, along with PayPal's "Verified Merchant" seal from Authorize.net.

Glenda also uses a variety of methods to enhance her site's visibility to help her business to succeed online. In addition to her primary domain, sassy2stitch.com, she currently has several other domains redirecting visitors to her site. These multiple domains serve as multiple methods for accessing her site, which in turn, increases her online exposure. Glenda has also recently been utilizing our various Marketing Services to help drive more traffic to her store. Her current campaign includes using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services, which optimizes her site based on specific keywords to help increase her rank on search engine results. She also utilizes various Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, which place advertisements relevant to her site across the web.

Sassy2Stitch looks poised to make great strides in the near future, and under Glenda's guidance, will continue to grow and evolve as she expands her audience and attracts new customers. Glenda has had a lot of positive things to say about the web coaches she has worked with at iPage and wanted to say: "I personally want to thank everyone at iPage for ALL the help and support they have given to me. The site has all the features I love and it is VERY user friendly, as most of my customers would rather stitch than work on the computer." Check out Glenda's site at www.sassy2stitch.com, and drop her a line if you want more info about her products – she loves to meet fellow stitchers!
